Amongst the many cays, you can find mangrove flats and tidal creeks where small creatures love to lurk. If you want to explore the depths, take your boat to a nearby coral reef. Grab your snorkel gear and jump in to have a look. You can even book a guided SCUBA diving tour with a local company and get up close and personal with the native sea life.

If you prefer to stay above the water, hop on a paddle board and weave through the trees to discover untouched parcels. On shore, you can get in a round of golf, hit the shops, or explore the historic settlements including the Lighthouse in Hope Town. This peppermint-striped lighthouse is one of the few remaining lighthouses in the Caribbean that is still man-operated. Delight in the delicacies of the islands and sip on cocktails while you soak up the sunset as it dips below the horizon.

Great Abaco Island and Little Abaco are the two mainlands. Marsh Harbour has a must see gem known as Pete’s Pub and Galleries where you can see “one of a kind” art pieces for purchase and enjoy amazing local cuisine. Treasure Cay is known for miles of vast, pristine beaches. In Elbow Cay and Green Turtle Cay, you can experience the heritage of Old English settlements, amazing restaurants, and do some shopping.
