What is a Ski Boat?
A ski boat is a specialized vessel that is built for towing tubes, water skiers and other water toys. They bring together purpose-built hulls, speed, towing aparatai and even special jets and paddles below the transom waterline that produce wakes for those behind the boat.Ski boats tend to also come in a variety of colors and feature high-performance, waterproof speakers as well.
Ski Boat Specs
Ski Boats are typically 20-30 feet long with seating for 4-8 people - while they are designed for watersports, they are also built to be comfortable. As we previously alluded to, wake and ski boats are meant to be seen and heard and have a variety of colors, (many times customized precisely to customer specifications) as well as advanced sound and electronics systems. Most often, ski boats are inboard powered, although it is possible to have an outboard powered vessel for watersports (it will just require the mounting of a tow bar).
