HEADLINES: 

In today's headlines, we check out a 40-foot floating violin-shaped boat recently launched in Venice, France. The vessel dubbed "Noah's Violin" was orchestrated by artist and woodcarver Livio De Marchi as tribute to Covid victims during the pandemic.

Next up, an upcoming marine-industry Leadership Summit hosted by Soundings Trade Only. The 2021 event will take place September 27, at the Tampa Marriott Water Street, adjacent to the Tampa Convention Center, the location of the International BoatBuilders' Exhibition and Conference, which opens the following day. One of Time Magazine's 25 Global Business Influentials, Dr. Balaji Krishnamurthy, will speak about his innovative concepts and a new genre of corporate leadership. Brett McGill, CEO and president of MarineMax, will join a panel of participants to review leadership in the marine industry. 

Finally, a look back at Summer Customer Rendezvous hosted by Azimut Yachts and Aquila Power Catamarans! The Azimut Summer Rendezvous took place on gorgeous Star Island in Montauk, NY. The amazing weekend united Azimut customers from all over the country. Aquila chose the picturesque Captiva Island, FL to bring together 17 boats, 21 owners, and over 100 people to raft-up in a visually impressive collection, including the all-new 70 Yacht Power Catamaran.
