Grady-White Boats was founded in 1959 and builds offshore outboard boats at its manufacturing plant in Greenville, NC. The company has been under continuous private ownership by Eddie Smith and the Smith family since 1968. Grady-White produces the very best family-and-fishing boats available and this is exceptionally evident in their Freedom line.

    In 1979, Grady-White developed the very first saltwater dual console, the Tarpon 190. Today, nearly 40 years later, Grady-White’s Freedom line includes an amazing ten models ranging from 19 to 37 feet.
