March is an exciting month in the boating world—the weather is warming up, and more boaters are looking forward to getting out on the water again. If you are one of them or are just looking for somewhere fun to go this coming Saint Patrick's Day or something to do in March, we won't give any blarney about that.     Boat Shows and Showcases

    Although boat show season is coming to a close, some are happening in March. If you’re in the San Antonio, TX, area, check out the Canyon Lake Splash | In the Water Boat Showcase from March 10 – 12. There’s also a fun boat show out in Orange Beach, Alabama. For brands such as Boston Whaler, Grady-White, Harris, Sea Ray, and more, check out The Wharf Boat & Yacht Show from March 17-19. Can you see yourself in this Sea Ray SDX 270?     Prepare yourself for adventures this spring and be confident on the water with the many great classes offered by various MarineMax locations. From our exclusive Women on Water® classes to Boating Safety courses, Marine Electronics classes, and more, there’s something for everyone to learn. Plus, if you can’t make any of these classes this month, check with your local store or on our events page online for more details and dates.     If you’re looking for a fun place to go on your boat for the day or for a longer timeframe, MarineMax offers the perfect solution. This month, MarineMax has an extended Getaways! adventure at Marina Del Mar from March 17-20 in Key Largo, FL. There’s also a fun Spring Fling Dayaway! event on March 25 on Disappearing Island, between Pounce Inlet and New Smyrna Beach, FL, where you can watch in amazement as this natural phenomenon occurs during high tide!     There’s always something happening at MarineMax, and in March, we’ve got a few St. Paddy’s Day-themed events at our locations. So throw on your favorite green outfit and check out what’s happening in your area on our events page online. In addition, depending on your location, there can be rivers and water in your area that are dyed green to celebrate the fun. The Chicago River in Chicago, IL, is known for its infamous annual river tinting, and even the Hillsborough River in Tampa, FL, has been seen as green in the past.
