MarineMax Charleston Hosts Blood Drive for American Red Cross

CHARLESTON, SC (June 9, 2020) – MarineMax Charleston plans to host a blood drive to support the American Red Cross. 
 
Diana De Carvalho, MarineMax Regional Marketing Manager, states, "We want to do our part in giving back to the community, so we are partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive at MarineMax Charleston." 
 
The need for blood is constant, and patients continue to need lifesaving blood products. The American Red Cross needs your help by donating blood. They will be taking extra precautions based on new CDC recommendations, including social distancing, disinfecting surfaces between patients, temperature checking staff and donors, and encouraging donors to make appointments ahead of time to space out visits. Blood donations can help save people of all ages. There is an urgent need to replenish supplies in hospitals nationwide from an accident or burn victim to surgeries recipients and those battling cancer.
