Notice of a Security Incident

MarineMax, Inc. (“MarineMax”) recently experienced a security incident that affected the personal information of some individuals.

On March 10, 2024, we discovered that we were the victim of a cybersecurity incident that impacted a limited portion of our information environment. Upon discovery, we remediated our environment, implemented additional security measures, initiated an investigation with the assistance of third-party forensic experts, and notified law enforcement authorities. Our investigation determined that an unauthorized third party obtained access to our environment and acquired some of our data, which contained the personal information of some customers and current and former employees.

The personal information that was affected may have included name, social security number, other government identification information (e.g., driver’s license number, passport number, etc.), financial account information, medical information, health insurance information, and other categories of personally identifiable information. Not every data element was present for every individual.

We take this incident very seriously and sincerely regret any inconvenience this incident may cause impacted individuals. We are offering potentially affected individuals with access to 24 months of credit monitoring and identity restoration services through Experian. Individuals also can review the information guide on additional steps to protect themselves.

In addition, we have established a dedicated call center to answer your questions.
