April was National Volunteer Month. We at MarineMax take pride in giving back to our communities and helping those in need. Our stores all over the country have taken initiative to go out and make the world a better place, one day at a time. MarineMax Fort Myers - Yacht Gala
What could be better than helping children and exploring beautiful yachts under the stars? MarineMax Fort Myers raised over $200,000 at the 2019 Yacht Gala to benefit Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida. Join us in raising even more next year!
MarineMax Naples - Toys for Tots and Fill the Boat
Back to school! MarineMax Naples has worked with the Naples branch of the Salvation Army for the past several years, collecting school supplies and toys for the local youth. Every year, customers of MarineMax Naples contribute to these events, once again showing the power of kindness!
MarineMax Miami - The AustinBlu Foundation
MarineMax Miami - Kids in Boating
MarineMax Miami hosted its 3rd annual Kids in Boating Class on April 13, partnering with the AustinBlu Foundation. The foundation has an unfortunate origin, as two 14-year-old boaters went out on the water one day and never were seen again. The tragedy occurred near the homes of the MarineMax Miami employees, so the entire store was eager to contribute to the cause.
MarineMax Assists BVI Recovery
It's amazing how a tragic event can bring out the best in us. After the devastating hurricane damage afflicted in the British Virgin Islands, MarineMax teamed up with Correct Craft and Nautique to help residents recover.

For three days, employees from these marine industry leaders joined together to help the residents on the island of Tortola, specifically the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College. -
The British Virgin Islands have been home to MarineMax Vacations for the past several years. As such, MarineMax is proud to support this community in a time of need.
MarineMax Georgia
MarineMax Georgia participates annually in the Lake Lanier Shore Sweep, a cleanup day for Lake Lanier. We lso sponsored the Partnership for Gynecological Cancer annual fundraiser last September by donating a Wine and Cheese Cruise. Money raised during the silent auction at this event goes to benefit ladies undergoing treatment for gynecological cancers, including ovarian and cervical. In addition, MarineMax Georgia is sponsoring the C.A.S.T. for Kids fishing tournament this August, and collected toys for the Toys for Tots campaign last December.
MarineMax Maryland
MarineMax Maryland is proud to announce a community initiative with Tiki Lee's Rockfish Tournament, the Back River Restoration Committee, and Scout Boats.

Tiki Lee's Dock Bar Rockfish Tournament
The Tiki Lee's Dock Bar Rockfish Tournament takes place on May 4, 2019. Customers are invited to tie-up in slips to participate in on-land activities, including a Scout Boat Show and raffling off a Scout 215 XSF. -
Back River Restoration
The tournament and donations from the raffle will benefit efforts to improve the quality of Back River and the Chesapeake Bay through the Oyster Recovery Partnership, BARCS, and the Back River Restoration Committee. The Rockfish tournament is a one-day event, but the raffle will continue through the summer.
