We Remember
During this time, we will never forget the tragedy of September 11, 2001. It is a day that remains all too vivid in the minds of those who witnessed it and the families who have lost a loved one. In recognition, MarineMax would like to continue to honor those who fought for us and perished during that unforgettable event and use this day to come together and be United by Water and beyond.

Please join us in a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. (EST) on the morning of September 11. This event corresponds with the moment American Airlines Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center that day. We also encourage everyone to do the following:
- Talk with family, friends, and children about the events that happened.
- Remember the brave first responders, military, and civilians who gave their lives to save others.
- Reflect on this day, our heroes and our freedom

MarineMax plans to honor and remember the fallen in various ways. Our store locations will host different events on or near September 11 to pay tribute by gathering, uniting, and remembering this day with each other. Check with your local store location for details.

We also encourage participation in local 9/11 Memorial Stair Climbs as a testament to paying tribute to the fallen first responders by climbing or walking the equivalent of the 110 stories of the World Trade Center. This experience allows those to not only remember the sacrifice of these heroes but symbolically complete their heroic journey to save others.
