Captain David Lindley

Captain Dave has spent decades operating boats on and near Coastal Waterways. His primary areas of operation include the Florida Keys, The Bahamas, and for the last 5 years, the British Virgin Islands. Having a long career as a commercial pilot, he’s flown large aircraft to the Far East, Europe, and North and South America. As a captain, with safety and professionalism always at the forefront, he’s managed crews of up to 15 members to transport passengers around the world. He’s been accident-free in both marine and aviation operations. In addition, he was a U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Officer for 15 years, serving as a deputized Federal Flight Deck Officer.

Captain Dave is recognized by The Nature Conservancy for volunteer work completed for the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. He also worked for years on the underwater survey of the Upper Florida Keys with survey founder the late Chuck Hayes. This survey was done using SCUBA equipment to inventory diminished pillar coral sites, archaeological shipwrecks (ballast piles), cannons, anchors, and any underwater artifact of interest to the authorities and the public.

In addition, he was raised as a cowboy on a ranch in Nevada and has achieved and accomplished the following:

• Retired Airline of a Captain Boeing 777
• PADI Rescue Diver
• Deputized Federal Flight Deck Officer (retired)
• Raised as a Cowboy on a ranch in Nevada
