CLEARWATER, FL (July 16, 2024) – MarineMax Yachts proudly announced the sale of a 2024 Azimut 72 FLY by Johnny Timmons of MarineMax Houston. Johnny first met the client at the Houston Boat Show in January, where he sold them their first boat, a Galeon 325 GTO. During the delivery, the client noticed some larger yachts at the marina, sparking a conversation about the potential upgrades. This led to a visit to the MarineMax Yacht Center, where they explored different options before ultimately deciding on the new Azimut 72 FLY. Johnny comments, "The client was captivated by the thoughtful design of both the interior and exterior of the Azimut 72 FLY, appreciating its simple and clean lines. The combination of aesthetics, performance, and innovative features made this yacht the perfect choice."
Equipped with powerful MAN engines, a Seakeeper, and advanced Raymarine navigation systems, the Azimut 72 FLY guarantees a smooth and exhilarating cruising experience. Whether cruising along the coast or hosting a grand party at sea, these exceptional yachts exceed all expectations.
This sale represents an addition to the client's fleet, as they decided to keep the 325 Galeon GTO for personal use while the captain will manage the new Azimut 72 FLY. The yacht will head to Texas for the hurricane season and then relocate to South Florida and the Bahamas during winter.
Some other noteworthy sales from the past months are a 2022 Ocean Alexander 30R sold by Scott Roberton out of MarineMax Clearwater and a 2015 Ocean Alexander 85 sold by David Michie out of MarineMax Naples.
