OLDSMAR, FL (March 26, 2025) – MarineMax Yachts proudly announced the sale of a 2025 Azimut 78 FLY to a longtime client, marking their fourth Azimut purchase through MarineMax. Dave Berardinelli handled the sale at MarineMax Boston.
The customer first connected with MarineMax in 2014 when it was Russo Marine. Since then, they have upgraded through multiple Azimut models, including the 45 FLY, 50 FLY, 60 FLY, and now the 78 FLY. Their loyalty to MarineMax and Azimut is built on strong relationships with the MarineMax team, Azimut leadership, and the reliable service network along the East Coast.
The Azimut 78 FLY is a masterpiece of Italian craftsmanship, combining elegance, performance, and innovation. Designed by Alberto Mancini, it features sleek exterior lines and expansive windows that flood the interior with natural light. The yacht is powered by triple Volvo IPS 1350 engines, delivering impressive performance and maneuverability. Inside, the sophisticated layout includes a spacious main deck with an open-plan salon and dining area, a well-appointed galley, and a helm station with advanced navigation technology. The lower deck offers luxurious accommodations, including a full-beam master suite, a VIP stateroom, and additional guest cabins, all designed with premium materials and exquisite attention to detail. The expansive flybridge provides ample space for entertaining, complete with a wet bar, lounge seating, and panoramic views.
The customer considered other yacht brands but chose to stay with Azimut and MarineMax due to the direct support from the brand, service availability, and the extensive MarineMax network. Their captain will take delivery at MarineMax Dania and transport the yacht to Newport, RI, for the summer before heading back to Miami in the fall.
“This sale is a great example of how strong relationships and consistent support make a difference in the yacht ownership experience,” said Dave Berardinelli. “We’re proud to continue delivering exceptional service and look forward to seeing the customer enjoy their new yacht.”
Additional notable sales from the past month include a 2016 Viking 75 by Scott Roberton of MarineMax Clearwater, a 2016 Ocean Alexander 100 by Brandon Flaherty of MarineMax Fort Myers, a 2025 Princess Yacht X 80 by Scott Warnike of MarineMax West Palm Beach, a 2025 Azimut 72 FLY by Darren Phillips, a 2024 Ocean Alexander 35R by Michael Tyrrell, and a 2022 Azimut 72 FLY by Mike Doyle, all from MarineMax Yacht Center.
