Johnny Timmons

Johnny Timmons was born and raised on the water in Seabrook, TX where he currently resides with his wife, Jessica, and sons, Cooper and Carson. Johnny’s introduction to the business side of boating came just after high school working in the cockpit of a Galveston charter fishing boat for two years. The life lessons learned while being in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico still stick with him today, and through this came his passion for saltwater and high horsepower yachts. Johnny has worked in, on, and around sport fishing boats and motor yachts as a Captain, Mate, and Angler for 20 years, and began his career in yacht sales at the age of 23 with Gulf Coast Hatteras. In 2004, he made the move to MarineMax Houston and has spent his years there creating a gateway from the Western Gulf to Florida for his valued customers. He’s been extremely fortunate to help people find their love of the water by putting them into Hatteras, Ocean Alexander, Azimut, Sea Ray, along with a myriad of other builds. Johnny’s favorite part of the boat business is helping a kid pick out the perfect life jacket. He’s an avid outdoorsman, so when he’s not out on the water, he’s likely chasing baseballs or birds with his boys.
